An early collection of verses by Robert Ranke Graves, an English poet, translator and novelist whose literary heritage includes more than 140 works. The author of unexcelled Greek Myths and remarkable historical novels “I, Claudius” and "Claudius the God”, Graves considered himself to be first of all a poet. Written during the World War I “Fairies and Fusiliers” earned for Graves the reputation as an accomplished war poet.
