When a book opens with two retired Lucifer sitting in a donut shop just shooting the s*** you know it's gonna be action packed.On another note I have consumed this entire series in Audio format not just so I could do it while doing other things but because Macleod Andrews is simply a spectacular narrator. His James Stark is perfect and he nails what I would imagine every character should sound like. Also despite a wide range of characters he rarely repeats a voice. He is one of those narrators who simply brings a series to life. Much like James Masters work on Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. If I read a Sandman Slim novel in text form it's Macleod's voice I hear in my head. He is simply perfect for this series.MoreLess
