“Hugo parked the golf cart by his door and entered. Despite the rough, country exterior, he found the room quite satisfactory. His luggage waited, as promised, and he arranged his laptop and notes neatly on a dark wood desk by the front window. He would work well here. A printed schedule in elaborate calligraphy hung on the back of the door, but he ignored it for now. He had learned he would have to dine in the main building, but surely the other activities listed were suggestions. He might ...not be performing surgery this week, but he would take advantage of the downtime to catch up. He unpacked and carried his toiletries into the bathroom, noting the large, rock-walled shower with approval. Everything he needed was at his disposal, including privacy.
